MTC 4th Week

Tuesday June 30th

This week has been very chaotic and awesome! Since the Mission
President Seminar they closed off the main building where the
cafeteria is and we ate in the gym. My district also hosted the new
incoming missionaries again this week. Felt bad for them coming in at
such a chaotic time. And the all sisters moved into a big new
residence building and then had to move out two days later because
there were bats in the building hahahahahahahahaha. So they had move
back into the old residences.

Singing was amazing! Sang Missionary
Melody on Thursday which was a medley of a bunch of missionary songs.
Friday we sang a beautiful arrangement of Precious Savior, Dear
Redeemer. Saturday was the commemoration of Joseph's Smith martyr and
we sang a arrangement of Joseph Smith First Pray. I felt the spirt
soooo strong singing that song there with the apostles, general
authorities, and mission presidents. Was a live changing experience
and a testimony builder. Strongest I've felt the Holy Ghost ever in my
life, practically the whole choir was crying when we were done
singing, including myself. Sunday we sang a arrangement of I Know My
Redeemer Lives for the Prophet and apostles during the Mission
President Seminar sacrament meeting. I am so grateful and blessed to
have been able to have such a blessing and opportunity to sing at the
Mission President Seminar.

So while the week mission president seminar, since we didn't have the
cafeteria we got outside world food! We go chick-fa-la chicken
sandwiches, subway, Taco Bell, cafe rio salad bowls, papa john pizza.

MTC Week 3

Tuesday June 23rd

La semana fue rápido para mí también. Okay ill go back to English now,
haha. The language is coming pretty good, poco a poco ( little by little).  Just been learning a lot of Spanish and teaching mock investigators
and lessons.

I asked Andrew what he did on p-day, his response was:
Go to the temple, clean up, email, nap, talk, relax, and tonight we have devotional. Couldn't go to the temple this morning because choir practice. And got a haircut after my nap.

P-day laundry and haircut

MTC 2nd week

Tuesday June 16th
The espanol is going little by little, language is my struggle but its going pretty well. Exciting news I was selected for a choir consisting of 40 missionaries that will be singing for the mission president seminar. With this opportunity I get to sing for the Apostles and other high church authorities and possibly the Prophet, such a blessing and super excited.  Super exciting news, I will for sure keep you updated.  Singing base part.
Andrew and his new found friend Elder Lybbert
Elder Rovere, native from Brazil, doesn't speak any English and is really cool!

MTC 1st week Part 2

We got a letter in the mail today from Andrew too!!  He and 3 other Elders are going to the same mission in Argentina, one is his companion Elder Hendrickson, Elder Lakey, and Elder Wallin who is from Alaska too how crazy is that?!

MTC 1st Week

Hola everyone! First P Day at the MTC. Feels like I've been at the MTC forever, the food isn't as great as every says it is, but today we went to the temple (which was awesome) and had delicious breakfast at the temple cafeteria after our session. First day at the MTC was crazy!!!! Very spiritual, amazing, and exhausting! First day's first class all Spanish, very difficult but learn alot in class this way and now it has gotten better and I actually understand what is being said, grasping the language slowly and strongly. At the MTC you really humble your self a realize you need the lord in all the things you do and he helps in so many ways. We were able to watch Elder Tom Perry's Funeral on the 5th was quite the service and very touching.  Question for you all to ask yourself, Who is Heavenly Father to me? My companion is great, Elder Hendrickson! My zone and district is also awesome, full of great missionaries, people , and now friends. and Had some very long and Hard days here, but through God Nothing is impossible!
